Ms. Cindy Lynn DeLancey
In 2000, Cindy DeLancey graduated from the University of Wyoming, College of Law. She practiced law in Rawlins with the firm of the MacPherson Law Offices before marrying Dave DeLancey and moving to Laramie. A few years later, Cindy returned to Carbon County as a Deputy Carbon County Attorney. In 2003, she took the job of Assistant Attorney General and represented the Department of Criminal Investigation. She also served in the U.S. Attorney’s Office as special assistant to the U.S. Attorney and prosecuted drug cases.
In 2006, Cindy DeLancey was elected by an overwhelming majority as the Carbon County Attorney. In January of 2007, Cindy officially became the Carbon County’s first female county attorney. In 2010, Cindy DeLancey was selected to serve as the Executive Director of the Wyoming County Commissioners Association.
Cindy and Dave DeLancey have two children, Reagen, who is 7 years old, and Beau, who is 4 years old. The DeLancey family enjoy raising horses, and traveling for rodeo events around the State.
