Mr. James C. Anderson

Jim Anderson is an Assistant United States Attorney stationed in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Jim has been a prosecutor for 32 of the 33 years he has practiced law - 10 years as a deputy county attorney and 5 years as the Uinta County and Prosecuting Attorney. For the past 17 years he has served as Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Wyoming stationed in Cheyenne. His current duties involve prosecuting cases involving the use of technology to exploit children, federal firearm violations, violent crime, narcotics offenses, and white collar crimes. In addition to his prosecution duties, Jim is an instructor at the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy and frequently instructs on legal issues arising in child exploitation cases at Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) conferences. Jim obtained his undergraduate degree from Gonzaga University, in Spokane, Washington and his law degree from the University of Wyoming, College of Law in 1979.
