Mr. John D. Chambers

John D. Chambers is a private practice attorney in Casper, Wyoming. He earned a B.A. in Linguistics from Brigham Young University, and a M.A. in Special Education and Rehabilitation: Sign Language Studies emphasis from the University of Arizona. In 2006, he graduated from the University of Wyoming, College of Law. Before becoming an attorney, he worked full-time as an American Sign Language Interpreter and served on the ad hoc committee to draft legal interpreting legislation for the State of Arizona. John worked in the Legal Services Clinic at the University of Wyoming and developed a strong appreciation for the importance of strong advocacy in the juvenile court. He has worked as a guardian ad litem and as an attorney for parents in the child abuse and neglect and C.H.I.N.S. cases. John is a Certified Child Welfare Law Specialist. He is a member of the Children’s Justice Project Parent Legal Representation Committee.
