Ms. Dona Playton

Dona Playton is an Associate Lecturer, University of Wyoming, College of Law; Director, University of Wyoming DV Legal Assistance Project and Supervising Attorney, Wyoming Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. She teaches Domestic Violence and the Law and Children and the Law and has taught Family Law. She is a Certified Child Welfare Law Specialist. Dona is a member of the Children’s Justice Project Advisory Council and Its Parent’s Legal Representation Committee. She assisted in drafting the Practice Guidelines for Attorneys Representing Parents in Abuse, Neglect and Termination of Parental Rights Cases. She has consulted with the American Bar Association’s Commission on Domestic Violence, the Wyoming Supreme Court, the Wyoming Council on Women’s Issues and the Access to Justice Commission’s Center for Legal Aid and Center for Legal Aid.
