Changes to Article 9 of Wyoming’s Uniform Commercial Code take effect in 2013. Similar changes are expected to be enacted in most, if not all, states this year. These amendments include a number of important changes that will have a significant impact on the UCC search and filing process.

This presentation will explain the amendments and alert both filers and searchers to what you need to know about the new requirements for sufficiency of debtor names, changed filing procedures, amended forms and other relevant UCC provisions. The presentation will offer practice tips relating to the amendments relevant to all attorneys, including those representing either debtors or creditors in loan or collection matters.
