I am very excited to invite you to join me at this year’s Annual Meeting and Judicial Conference to be held at Little America in Cheyenne, Wyoming, from September 14th through the 16th. We have a wonderful line-up of both nationally recognized speakers as well as state specialists who are ready to give some informative, entertaining and useful CLE presentations in many different areas of the law. Whether you are a first-year associate or a seasoned professional, there is something for everyone.

Without question, the highlight of the conference for me will be our speaker at banquet on Thursday night. The Honorable Alan C. Page will join us and share his thoughts on life and the law. Justice Page has served on the Minnesota Supreme Court since 1992, was formerly a member of the vaunted “Purple People Eaters” while playing as defensive end with the Minnesota Vikings from 1967 to 1978 and is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame located in his hometown of Canton, Ohio. He is an incredibly interesting individual with a fascinating past that makes his perspectives on the law unique and entertaining.

This year’s conference will also have several social events that should facilitate your networking opportunities. Governor Mead has graciously agreed to allow the Bar to host the Welcome Reception at the Governor’s Residence this year. We are excited about this unique opportunity. We hope you will join us for that as well as everything else this year’s Annual Meeting & Judicial Conference has to offer.

A special thank-you to Kay Lynn Bestol and the rest of the CLE Committee for all of their hard work in planning a diverse and well-rounded educational opportunity for Wyoming lawyers to enhance their practice.

See you in Cheyenne!
