The Sixth Judicial District is seeking a full-time law clerk position, commencing summer 2013 with the exact start date as yet undetermined. This is an at-will two-year position with a possible option to extend.

Job responsibilities include: conducting legal research on all areas of law; preparing bench memoranda; drafting jury instructions; preparing for civil and criminal trials; reviewing briefs and attending oral arguments; drafting decision letters on a variety of subjects; and other responsibilities as required.

Candidates must: (1) be licensed to practice in Wyoming or be sitting for the July 2013 Wyoming Bar exam; (2) enjoy and excel at legal research and writing; (3) be friendly and personable; (4) have high moral standards and ethics; and (5) have superior organizational and computer skills.

Salary and benefits are competitive.
