The Wyoming State Law Library serves as the source of legal information for the Wyoming Judicial System, with particular emphasis on the Wyoming Supreme Court. It also serves as a research library for the legislative and administrative branches of Wyoming State Government. The Wyoming State Law Library is seeking a professional and innovative Law Librarian to conduct in-depth legal research, complete research specific law library projects, assist patrons in referencing library materials on-line or hard copy, and other responsibilities as needed. Mastery of in-depth Wyoming legal research skills, formal training in the use of LexisNexis and Westlaw, and ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of a background check.
Education: Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited school. One year of experience working in a law library preferred.
Starting Salary Range: $ 52,000 – 60,000. Salary is commensurate with experience, qualifications and education. Full benefits are available including vacation and sick leave, health insurance, optional dental and vision insurance, and retirement.
