This position is at-will and is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Attorney General (W.S. 9-1-608). Preference will be given to candidates with a juris doctorate degree, a Wyoming State Bar License to practice law, and to applicants with a minimum of seven years of experience as an attorney including one year at a senior level of responsibility.
This position is for a section supervisor in the Criminal Division exercising first-line supervisory authority over a section of staff attorneys to represent the state in all criminal cases pending in the Wyoming Supreme Court consisting of researching and writing the state’s brief in direct appeals from conviction from the various district courts in all 23 counties.
