Purpose
The Wyoming State Bar is committed to protecting the privacy of those accessing its Web site. The purpose of this policy is to inform those accessing our website about the collection and use of the personally identifiable information of its users.
Information we gather
We do not gather personal information from our visitors unless an order/registration/request is placed.
Our server does maintain logs of visits to and use of its web pages. Our site uses this information only for statistical analysis in order to make the sites more user friendly. No personal information is gathered in these logs. The collected information is not used to identify individual users and internet service providers.
Our server does have security measures which, in the event of any attempt at compromising the website and/or its support systems, are capable of identifying the offending individual user and the user's internet service provider. All efforts at breaching the security of the state website and/or its support systems will be referred to the appropriate law enforcement agency for investigation and prosecution.
How we use the information we gather
Any contact/personal information submitted via SSL web form is only used to fulfill your order/registration/request.
The people that are given access to this information
Once a order/registration/request SSL web form is submitted, only the Wyoming State Bar staff and server administrator are able to view your information.
The security measures we have in place to protect your personal information
WyomingBar.org uses a universal Internet technology called Secure Socket Layer (SSL) for all form interactions. When you send information from your computer to our server, it is encrypted (locked) so that the information is protected during its transmission. We do not store credit card information.
Our use of cookies
Our website does not use cookies to track your return visits to our website.
Our website ONLY uses cookies to maintain your session once logged in. It is removed as soon as your session expires at the end of your visit.
