Attorneys and Judges to Gather in Laramie

CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Bar today announced that it will be hosting its 2018 Annual Meeting & Judicial Conference at the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center in Laramie, Wyoming, September 18 – 21, 2018. The meeting is a combined gathering of the Wyoming State Bar and the Wyoming Judiciary. Four-hundred attorneys and judges are expected to be in attendance.

This year’s Annual Meeting & Judicial Conference will feature two full days of judicial education for District Court and Circuit Court judges throughout Wyoming. The conference will also offer three days of quality educational programs for Wyoming lawyers.

The Bar is thrilled to have Ed Hochuli, a retired NFL Referee and a lawyer, as its keynote speaker for this year’s Annual Banquet, which is not open to the public.

Hochuli is a founding partner in the Phoenix law firm of Jones, Skelton & Hochuli, an 85-lawyer firm that was established in 1983. He has personally tried over 150 civil jury trials to verdict and is one of the most experienced trial lawyers in Arizona. Hochuli is retired Head Referee in the National Football League, where he worked for the past 28 years. He has officiated close to 600 games in the NFL including two Super Bowls, ten Conference Championship games, the Pro Bowl and 28 playoff games.

“Our Annual Meeting serves as a unique opportunity for Wyoming’s lawyers and judges to get together and not only learn and conduct business, but to also network Wyoming-style,” said Rob Jarosh, Cheyenne attorney and President of the Wyoming State Bar.
