Barbe Elected Vice President of Wyoming State Bar

CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Bar is pleased to announce that J. Kenneth Barbe, an attorney from Casper, Wyoming, has been elected Vice President.

The 2019/2020 Election of Officers was held according to Article II, Section 1 and Article VI of the Bylaws of the Wyoming State Bar. The results of the election were announced last week in Jackson, Wyoming, at the Bar’s Annual Business Meeting.

Barbe succeeds Billie LM Addleman of Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Barbe graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1983 and joined the law firm then known as Brown, Drew, Apostolos, Massey & Sullivan in Casper, Wyoming. He remained with Brown, Drew through its various iterations until January 2012 when he joined the firm of Welborn Sullivan Meck & Tooley, P.C. in its Casper office. Barbe’s law practice is focused primarily in the areas of business transactions and estate planning.  He is listed as a Mountain States Super Lawyer and selected as a Best Lawyer in America in the specialties of Corporate Law, Litigation – Mergers & Acquisitions, and Mergers & Acquisitions Law. Barbe is also recognized by Chambers USA in Corporate/Mergers and Acquisitions and Real Estate.

Barbe is a past president of the Natrona County Bar Association and former member of the Board of Law Examiners.

In his capacity as Vice President, Barbe will serve as a member-at-large of the Board of Commissioners and a member of the Executive Committee.
