CASPER ATTORNEY RECEIVES WYOMING STATE BAR PRESIDENT’S AWARD
CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Bar is pleased to announce that Frank D. Neville, an attorney from Casper, is this year’s recipient of the President’s Award. The award was presented last week during a small awards luncheon held in conjunction with the Bar’s Virtual Annual Meeting.
The award is reserved to a person chosen by the President of the Wyoming State Bar who exemplifies professionalism, high ethical standards, and the pursuit of justice in the practice of law. This year’s President, Billie LM Addleman, of Cheyenne, recognized Neville.
“I chose Frank as this year’s recipient because he is one of the best and most respected attorneys in our state,” said Addleman. “I remember being a young, raw, and naïve attorney defending cases and learning from Frank. He was always professional and committed to his client and the case.” Addleman went on to state that, “I learned how to defend medical malpractice cases, largely in part, by following Frank around the country defending depositions, working with expert witnesses, and preparing cases for trial. I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor. He was incredibly generous with his time in discussing strategy and best practices. The time Frank spent with me shaped my own practice and career.”
Frank D. Neville was raised in Casper, Wyoming. He attended Casper College before earning his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Wyoming. Neville is a founding partner of the Casper firm Williams, Porter, Day & Neville, P.C., and practiced across the state and region for more than five decades as a civil litigator in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice defense, product liability, and environmental and oil and gas litigation. Later, he developed a mediation practice becoming one of the most trusted mediators in the state, respected by both plaintiff and defense attorneys. He mentored numerous attorneys – defense and plaintiff attorneys alike – over his years of practice.
In addition to being a member of the Wyoming State Bar, Neville is a member of the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association; Defense Lawyers Association of Wyoming; American Bar Association; Defense Research Institute; and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, International Society of Barristers, and International Association of Defense Counsel. Outside the practice of law, Neville is an accomplished photographer, specializing in landscape and wildlife photography. He is also a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
