Cheyenne Lawyer Receives Legal Aid of Wyoming Pro Bono Award
Cheyenne – Legal Aid of Wyoming, Inc. is pleased to announce that Jack Speight, a retired attorney from Cheyenne, is the recipient of the Legal Aid of Wyoming Leadership Award for outstanding leadership as Corporate Counsel for Legal Aid of Wyoming. The award was presented yesterday at the Wyoming State Bar’s Awards Luncheon in Cheyenne by Ray Macchia, Executive Director of Legal Aid of Wyoming, Inc.
“During the early days of Legal Aid, Jack was instrumental in helping craft policies, bylaws and assisting the Board of Legal Aid in putting together a new organization to help the indigent,” said Macchia. “Because of Jack’s efforts, Legal Aid has helped many clients through Legal Aid’s hotline and legal representation.”
Jack is an asset to the Bar, Legal Aid and to Wyoming as a whole.
