Security Assessments and Pen Testing for Law Firms teaches lawyers the benefits and necessity of having their networks scanned for vulnerabilities and weaknesses – even law firms on a budget. Assessing your cybersecurity is more important in the work-from-home environment where vulnerabilities are far greater and hackers are focused on exploiting them. While the process may seem overwhelming, with a little bit of education, you will learn how you can further strengthen your firm’s security posture. This CLE will cover the basics of each of these services, how to engage a vendor, questions to ask and exactly what each service will entail. Some of the focused discussion points include:
- What are the differences between a security assessment and penetration test?
- How long does each one take to complete?
- How do I prepare for an assessment or pen test?
- What are the expected costs?
- What are the deliverables?
- How often should I have these services performed?
