Landscape: LegalTech Options + How to Select Between Them
April 24, 2023 1:00 PM-2:00 PM
Over the course of the last four years, movement in the LegalTech space has been unprecedented. Startups have been getting funded at a staggering rate and with large chunks of money. Big companies have been consistently acquiring smaller players, in an attempt to create the ‘operating system for legal’. So, is that even possible? And how do you choose among all the technology options presenting themselves to your law firm – especially with all the acquisitions taking place simultaneously?
In this fast-paced session, a legal technology expert will walk you through your primary software choices, as well as how secondary programs can integrate with those. Also addressed will be specific tactics to employ in decision making, as well as a brief conversation about client file security.
Topics include:
• The ‘big 4’ technology tools you need to run your law firm
• Additional software to consider, including integration points
• Questions to ask of vendors
• Data security requirements
• Making a team-based decision, to get buy-in
