Cash Out: A Law Firm Financial Management Heat Check
January 13, 2025 1:00 PM-2:00 PM
Lawyers don’t like math. I mean, that’s why you went to law school, right? To avoid it.
But, as it turns out, if you’re running a law firm, you really need to be on top of your financial game in a meaningful way. You know, not just, like, when you’re talking to your accountant about filing your taxes for the prior year.
But, with so many potential things to keep tabs on, how do you juggle it all? What are ‘table stakes’ for managing a financially forward law firm?
In this robust program, we’ll cover some basic financial competencies and some more complex strategies, that not a lot of law firms’ owner focus on – which means that, if you do, you can access a distinct competitive advantage.
(Don’t worry – we won’t be covering calculus . . . or, even, pre-calculus.)
Topics to be addressed include:
• Trust account management
• Structuring rates
• Software options
• Reporting + KPIs
