GEE ELECTED VICE PRESIDENT OF WYOMING STATE BAR
CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Bar is pleased to announce that Alison O. Gee, an attorney from Gillette, Wyoming, has been elected Vice President of the Bar.
Gee succeeds James T. Whiting of Lander, Wyoming.
Gee grew up in Gillette, Wyoming. She earned a BA at the University of Wyoming where she was a member of the rodeo team as well as the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado and an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Alabama.
Gee is a Shareholder at Lubnau Law in Gillette, Wyoming. She served as the Sixth Judicial District Commissioner for almost five years before being appointed to fill the vacant position of Vice President. Gee was also appointed by the Wyoming Supreme Court to serve on the Board of Continuing Legal Education. She is an inaugural member of the Gillette College Board of Trustees and was recently appointed to serve Wyoming on the Uniform Law Commission.
Gee’s legal practice includes representing hospitals and school districts across Wyoming, estate and business planning, property and mineral law, and probate. She also serves as a part-time municipal judge for the City of Gillette.
In her capacity as Vice President, Gee will serve as a member-at-large of the Board of Commissioners and a member of the Executive Committee.
