Hadley-Day Receives Pro Bono Award
CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Bar is pleased to announce that Joelle Hadley-Day, an attorney from Sheridan, has received a Pro Bono Award for Legal Service for Indigent Clients. Incoming President Weston T. Graham, also of Sheridan, presented the award last week during the Bar’s Annual Meeting & Judicial Conference in Laramie, Wyoming.
The nomination for the award was submitted by Buffalo attorney, Carina Ostberg.
“Jo has demonstrated a sincere commitment to doing pro bono work as a solo practitioner in Sheridan,” said Ostberg. “She is an advocate for the population in Sheridan and Johnson Counties and has deep rooted passion for helping people and truly believes that everyone deserves fair representation in court proceedings.”
Hadley-Day moved to Wyoming in 1981. She graduated with a BA in Paralegal Studies from the University of Great Falls in 2000 and earned her J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2003. She served as a clerk for the Hon. John C. Brackley from 2003-2004 and has been in private practice ever since. Her practice focuses on family law, juvenile court and criminal defense.
