JUDGES NEEDED: Wyoming High School Mock Trial

The Wyoming High School Mock Trial needs attorneys to help score the annual competition on November 18, 2017, in Cheyenne. They expect several teams from around the state, so please consider spending the day with students who have worked hard on the case of Johnson vs JJJ Beverages—a parent seeking damages for injuries suffered by a teenager after she consumed an energy drink.

Find the volunteer form on www.wyomingmocktrial.com, under the Resources tab. Fill out the information and email back to wyomingmocktrial@gmail.com. You can volunteer for one or all of the rounds, which start at 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The competition has been approved for up to 6 credits of CLE, including 1 ethics credit.

The competition will be held at the Laramie County Government Complex at 309 W. 20th Street, Cheyenne, WY.  Orientation for judges will be held at 7:30 a.m. Breakfast and lunch are provided.

The 2017 case is available on the homepage of www.wyomingmocktrial.com, and judging information is on the Resources tab. Contact WHSMT if you have other questions.

Wyoming High School Mock Trial is supported by grants from the Wyoming State Bar.
