Law Student Receives Wyoming State Bar Outstanding Pro Bono Student Award
CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Bar is pleased to announce that Al Walsh, a third-year law student at the University of Wyoming College of Law has received the 2016 Outstanding Pro Bono Student Award. Alisa M. Rosales, Staff Attorney and IT Project Manager at Equal Justice Wyoming, presented the award last week during the Bar’s Annual Meeting & Judicial Conference in Laramie, Wyoming.
The nomination for the award was also submitted by Rosales.
Walsh was recognized for his volunteer work in the Veteran’s Service Center on campus, specifically with assisting the student veterans. His valuable work with students is a shining example to the community of a veteran who is continuing to serve and someone that understands the challenges facing veterans.
