Mock Trial Tournament Rescheduled – January 30th in Casper
The Wyoming High School Mock Trial (WHSMT) tournament that was scheduled for November in Cheyenne has been rescheduled for January 30, 2016, and relocated to Casper.
WHSMT is looking for judges and attorneys who can score and preside at the trials. CLICK HERE for the volunteer form.
The weather and road conditions in November prevented teams from making the trip to Cheyenne on the original date, so WHSMT has found another Saturday with minimal conflicts and in a city where four of the eight teams are located (two teams each from Kelly Walsh High School and Star Lane Center). Other teams registered from Lander Valley High School and the Day Reporting Center in Riverton.
The competition is still open to any school who can field a team of 6-8 students in grades 9-12. There will be three rounds of competition, beginning at 8:30 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
CLICK HERE for all the case materials, rules and judging guides for the competition.
Send volunteer forms and any questions to wyomingmocktrial@gmail.com, or call Marguerite Herman at 307-638-1468.
