OLSON ELECTED PRESIDENT-ELECT OF WYOMING STATE BAR

CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Bar is pleased to announce that Anna Reeves Olson, an attorney from Casper, Wyoming, has been elected President-Elect of its organization and will serve as President in 2023-2024.

The 2022/2023 Election of Officers was held according to Article II, Section 1 and Article VI of the Bylaws of the Wyoming State Bar. The results of the election were announced last week during the Bar’s Annual Business Meeting in Casper.

Olson succeeds Christopher H. Hawks of Jackson, Wyoming, who is now the President of the Bar.

Olson is a partner at Park Street Law Office, where she has practiced since 2006. She has a varied practice and focuses on civil litigation involving professional malpractice defense, health care law, contract and real estate disputes and family law.

Olson graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law with Honors in 2003. She then went on to clerk for the Hon. E. James Burke, Hon. Edward L. Grant and Hon. Nicholas G. Kalokathis with the First Judicial District Court in Laramie County, Wyoming. From 2005 to 2006, Olson clerked at the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York City, New York. She is currently a member of the Judicial Nominating Commission.

Olson will serve next as President of the Wyoming State Bar. She will serve in that capacity from September 2023 – September 2024.
