PETRI ELECTED TO WYOMING STATE BAR GOVERNING BOARD
CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Bar is pleased to announce that Jason Petri, an attorney from Rock Springs, Wyoming, has been elected commissioner of the Wyoming State Bar to represent the Third Judicial District, which consists of Lincoln, Sweetwater and Uinta Counties. Petri will serve a three-year term.
Petri graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1993. He worked at the Office of the Sweetwater County and Prosecuting Attorney for 12 years and then entered private practice. His practice is generally focused on family and juvenile law. He has served as the Green River Municipal Court Judge since 2008.
The 2021/2022 Election of Commissioners was held in accordance with the Bylaws of the Wyoming State Bar. Petri succeeds Teresa S. Thybo, an attorney from Green River who currently serves as the Vice President of the Wyoming State Bar.
