PUBLIC NOTICE: Reappointment of U.S. Magistrate R. Michael Shickich

The United States District Court for the District of Wyoming is required to establish a panel of citizens to consider the reappointment of R. Michael Shickich at Casper, Wyoming, for a new term of office as part-time United States Magistrate Judge and for that purpose has established a panel consisting of the Honorable Kelly H. Rankin, Chairman, John A. Masterson, Stephanie Sprecher and Brenda Szymczak.

The duties of the office of part-time magistrate judges are as follows: The trial and disposition of federal misdemeanor cases; the handling of initial proceedings in federal criminal cases and such additional duties as delegated by the judges of the U.S. District Court to assist them in expediting the civil and criminal caseloads.

U. S. Magistrate Judge Shickich’s term of office expires on January 22, 2016. The public is invited to submit comments concerning the reappointment of U.S. Magistrate Judge Shickich to the Honorable Kelly H. Rankin, Chief, U.S. Magistrate Judge, 2120 Capitol Avenue, Room 2204, Cheyenne, WY 82001, no later than December 11, 2015.
