WASSERBURGER ELECTED TO WYOMING STATE BAR GOVERNING BOARD
CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Bar is pleased to announce that Anne K. Wasserburger, an attorney from Lusk, Wyoming, has been elected commissioner of the Wyoming State Bar to represent the Eighth Judicial District, which consists of Converse, Goshen, Niobrara and Platte Counties. Wasserburger will serve a three-year term.
Wasserburger graduated from University of Wyoming College of Law in 2013. She was an associate with Williams, Porter, Day and Neville, P.C. practicing primarily insurance defense until she moved to Lusk, Wyoming, in 2015. She then worked for Harriet Hageman practicing a wide array of natural resource law until she became the County Attorney for Niobrara County in 2017, at which time she also opened Wasserburger Law, LLC. She has since split her time between serving as Niobrara County and Prosecuting Attorney and running Wasserburger Law, LLC which primarily focuses on estate planning and transactional law.
Wasserburger is married to Andrew Wasserburger, they have three children, Henry (8), Grace (6) and Francis (4). They live 30 miles north of Lusk and live and operate the Wasserburger family’s ranch.
Wasserburger succeeds Shawn Wilde, an attorney from Douglas, who has served in this capacity for the last six years.
