WYOMING SUPREME COURT SUSPENDS ARKANSAS LAWYER

CHEYENNE– The Wyoming Supreme Court issued an order suspending attorney Kent C. Cobb from the practice of law for a period of three months. The order of suspension stemmed from Cobb’s representation of a Wyoming resident in a debt collection matter. In the course of the representation, Cobb violated his duty of competence and diligence in addition to failing to communicate with his client. Cobb also made numerous unintentional misrepresentations to his client. Cobb agreed to the suspension, which was recommended to the Supreme Court by the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Wyoming State Bar. Cobb was ordered to pay an administrative fee in the amount of $750.00 and costs of $50.00 to the Wyoming State Bar.
