Did I do that? Do's and Don’ts and Often-Overlooked Issues in the Everyday Practice of Bankruptcy Law

May 16, 2024 12:30 PM-1:30 PM

Sponsored by the Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Section

This CLE is designed to inform bankruptcy practitioners of often overlooked issues when practicing bankruptcy law from the perspective of the Court. In the everyday practice of law, it’s all too easy to overlook “the simple stuff,” such as local and federal bankruptcy rules and proper process and procedure. Being mindful of the rules, local practice, and routine filings such as certificates of service are just as important as the substantive issues in a case. A roundtable refresher on these issues may help you avoid the ever dreaded “compliance order.”
