CHEYENNE ATTORNEY RECEIVES PRO BONO AWARD
CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Bar is pleased to announce that Linda J. Steiner, a Cheyenne attorney, has received a 2021 Pro Bono Award for Legal Services for Indigent Clients. Abby Fournier, Steiner’s daughter and law partner, presented the award today at an Awards Luncheon taking place in conjunction with the Wyoming State Bar Virtual Annual Meeting. The nomination for the award was also submitted by Fournier.
Steiner has provided outstanding legal representation to many domestic violence victims pro bono. She has also represented parents and grandparents in grandparent visitation actions and guardianships. “She is a superb representation of what it means to be a lawyer in the state of Wyoming and her commitment to providing legal services to those in need is commendable,” said Fournier.
Steiner graduated from the University of Wyoming with her Juris Doctor in 1983. She has practiced law in Wyoming courts for nearly forty years. Steiner is the proprietor and partner at Steiner, Fournier & Zook, LLC in Cheyenne.
