Dickinson Receives Pro Bono Award
CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Bar is pleased to announce that Lee R. Dickinson, an attorney from Cheyenne, has received the 2017 Pro Bono Awards for Legal Services for Indigent Clients. Liz Hutchinson, Staff Attorney and Pro Bono Coordinator at Equal Justice Wyoming, presented the award last week during the Bar’s Annual Meeting & Judicial Conference in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
The nomination for the award was also submitted by Hutchinson.
Dickinson has demonstrated a sincere commitment to doing pro bono work and has accepted several cases through Equal Justice Wyoming during the past fiscal year. Dickinson helps to fill a substantial unmet need by continuing to accept pro bono cases through Equal Justice Wyoming.
Dickinson is Of Counsel to Hathaway & Kunz, LLP in Cheyenne. His practice focuses on transactional and business matters, with an emphasis on retail regulatory issues, franchising and trademarks. Dickinson holds a faculty appointment at the University Of Wyoming College Of Law, where he teaches legal analysis, reasoning, and writing. Prior to joining Hathaway & Kunz, Dickinson taught for four years at Vanderbilt University Law School and was in-house counsel at Dollar General Corporation, a publicly-traded, Fortune 200 retailer with over 12,000 locations. He is also a frequent volunteer judge for high school and college mock trial, moot court, and mock negotiation competitions.
