FARSON LAWYER RECEIVES BAR’S PROFESSIONALISM AWARD
CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Bar is pleased to announce that Farson attorney Darin B. Scheer is this year’s recipient of its Gerald R. Mason Professionalism Award. The award was presented on September 7th in conjunction with the Bar’s Annual Meeting & Judicial Conference, which took place in Laramie.
Scheer is the 13th recipient of this annual award. The award was presented by Christopher H. Hawks, President of the Wyoming State Bar.
The Professionalism Award is given to a Wyoming lawyer who represents the highest standards of ethics and dedication to the law, but also recognizes someone who contributes their time and energy to making the Wyoming Bar and its lawyers the best people they can be.
“I have had the pleasure of serving with Darin on the Board of Law Examiners for several years and have referred a number of litigation matters to him. Darin exemplifies the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in everything he undertakes,” said Hawks.
Scheer serves as Senior Counsel with Crowley Fleck PLLP in Wyoming, representing clients in large natural resource transactional projects and litigation. He is a member of the Wyoming Board of Law Examiners, the Board of Trustees of the National Conference of Bar Examiners, and he has served on NCBE’s national policy committees for the Uniform Bar Exam, the Multistate Essay Exam, and the Multistate Bar Exam. He also served as the Wyoming State Bar’s ABA delegate from 2013 to 2022 and was a member of the Wyoming Lawyer Editorial Committee from 2015 to 2020. In his free time, Scheer enjoys a variety of outdoor activities with his kids, including skiing, hunting, fishing and camping. He is also a private pilot and raft guide who loves to explore backcountry airstrips and rivers throughout the western United States.
