Lawyers Volunteer to Offer Legal Advice to Veterans
CHEYENNE–The Wyoming State Bar is pleased to partner with Legal Aid of Wyoming to host a free Veterans Legal Advice Clinic on Veterans Day. The clinic will take place on Thursday, June 13th from 6 – 8 p.m. at the VA Medical Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
The clinic will provide veterans with brief, initial consultations with volunteer attorneys from Cheyenne on any civil issue such as landlord/tenant disputes, divorce or child custody, estate planning, public benefits, VA benefits, discharge upgrades and more.
“We are proud to be providing veterans with the necessary legal resources they desperately need,” said Cathy Duncil, Pro Bono Coordinator for the Wyoming State Bar. “Veterans struggle with some unique issues and we have a group of volunteer lawyers ready and willing to assist them.”
The clinic will be on a first come, first served basis, and no appointments are necessary.
