Award-winning radio host, legal journalist and podcast documentarian Julia Longoria will share a live multimedia performance of a story set deep in Yellowstone National Park. When Montanan Mike Bederrain hunted down the biggest elk of his life, he didn’t know he’d stumbled into a “zone of death,” the remote home of a legal glitch that could short-circuit the Constitution—a place where, technically, you could get away with murder.
Longoria has spent her career reporting, producing, and hosting some of the most critically acclaimed podcast documentaries from Radiolab, NPR, The New York Times, and The Atlantic Magazine, among others. She got her start in local newsrooms in her hometown of Miami, FL. Recently, she was the host of More Perfect, WNYC’s podcast about the Supreme Court, as well as The Experiment, The Atlantic’s flagship weekly show about America. She’s now an editorial director and podcast host at Vox.com developing new podcast series
