PUBLIC NOTICE – Reappointment of Kelly H. Rankin

The United States District Court for the District of Wyoming is required to establish a panel of citizens to consider the reappointment of Kelly H. Rankin at Cheyenne, Wyoming, for a new term of office as full-time United States Magistrate Judge and for that purpose has established a panel consisting of John R. Green, Chairman, William U. Hill, E. James Burke, Robert L. Murray, Craig Paul Kapp, Stephan Harris, and Gregg Jones.

The duties of the office of full-time magistrate judges are as follows: The trial and disposition of federal misdemeanor cases; the handling of initial proceedings in federal criminal cases and such additional duties as delegated by the judges of the U.S. District Court to assist them in expediting the civil and criminal caseloads.

U. S. Magistrate Judge Rankins’s term of office expires June 6, 2020. The public is invited to submit comments concerning the reappointment of U.S. Magistrate Judge Rankin to John R. Green, Chairman, c/o U.S. District Court, P. O. Box 1348, Cheyenne, WY 82003, no later than March 6, 2020.
