Silva Elected to Wyoming State Bar Governing Board
CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Bar is pleased to announce that P. Craig Silva, an attorney from Casper, has been elected Commissioner of the Wyoming State Bar to represent the Seventh Judicial District, which consists of Natrona County. Silva will serve a three-year term.
Peter “Craig” Silva is a shareholder with the law firm of Williams, Porter, Day & Neville, P.C. He graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1996. In his 20 plus years of practice, he has been involved in numerous types of cases in front of all sorts of tribunals. He is admitted to practice at the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. He has had numerous reported cases at both the Wyoming Supreme Court and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
The 2020/2021 Election of Commissioners was held in accordance with the Bylaws of the Wyoming State Bar. Silva succeeds Charles Chapin, also of Casper.
