WALDRIP ELECTED TO WYOMING STATE BAR GOVERNING BOARD
CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Bar is pleased to announce that Kylie M. Waldrip, an attorney from Rawlins, Wyoming, has been elected commissioner of the Wyoming State Bar to represent the Second Judicial District, which consists of Albany and Carbon Counties. Waldrip will serve a three-year term.
Waldrip earned a B.A. in Political Science from Western Washington University in 2012. She earned her J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2015.
Waldrip began her career with MacPherson, Kelly & Thompson, LLC, in Rawlins in 2015. In 2018, she started her own practice in Rawlins with her mentor and partner, Kurt Kelly. The practice serves Carbon County residents in a variety of practice areas. The majority of Waldrip’s practice focuses on estate planning, probate, real estate transactions, and corporate law. When Waldrip is not practicing law, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Waldrip is currently a member of the Carbon County Bar Association and the Wyoming State Bar. She also serves on the Bar’s Board of Professional Responsibility, the Client Protection Fund Committee and the Editorial Committee. She previously served as a Special Assistant Attorney General (2015-2018) and is currently serving as a District Court Commissioner and a Circuit Court Magistrate for the Second Judicial District.
Waldrip succeeds Dona Playton, an attorney from Laramie.
