Wyoming Supreme Court Suspends Riverton Attorney

CHEYENNE – The Wyoming Supreme Court today issued an order of immediate suspension of Riverton attorney, Terri Virginia Smith. The order was based on Ms. Smith’s conviction of a serious crime. Ms. Smith was recently convicted of two felony drug counts in Wyoming federal court and is currently serving a term of incarceration. The Supreme Court’s order will remain in effect pending resolution of formal disciplinary charges that have been brought against Ms. Smith by the Wyoming State Bar Office of Bar Counsel.
