Cotton Receives Pro Bono Award
CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Bar is pleased to announce that Timothy C. Cotton, an attorney from Casper, has received one of three 2016 Pro Bono Awards for Legal Services for Indigent Clients. Cathy Duncil, Pro Bono Coordinator at the Wyoming State Bar, presented Cotton’s award last week during the Bar’s Annual Meeting & Judicial Conference in Laramie, Wyoming.
The nomination for the award was submitted by a former client of Cotton’s.
Cotton has demonstrated a sincere commitment to doing pro bono work. His client described the obstacles in the case but with the assistance of Cotton, the client was able to have legal representation that otherwise he/she could not afford. Cotton’s dedication and help to the citizens of Wyoming fills a need in his community.
Members of the public needing pro bono assistance should contact the Legal Advice and Intake Hotline at 877-432-9955.
