Chavez Appointed to Serve on Wyoming State Bar Board of Commissioners
The Wyoming State Bar is pleased to announce that Sarah L. Chavez, an attorney from Rawlins, has been appointed commissioner of the Wyoming State Bar to represent the Second Judicial District, which consists of Albany and Laramie Counties.
Laramie Attorney Appointed President-Elect of Wyoming State Bar

Judicial Nominating Commission Announces District Court Vacancy in Third Judicial District
Wyoming Supreme Court Chief Justice Michael K. Davis, who acts as Chairman of the Judicial Nominating Commission, announced today that Third Judicial District Judge Nena James will be retiring effective October 18, 2019.
Amendments to Rules of Professional Conduct & Rules of Disciplinary Procedure
The Wyoming Supreme Court has issued orders amending the Rules of Professional Conduct as well as the Rules of Disciplinary Procedure. The effective date for the amendments is September 1, 2019.

Wyoming Supreme Court Suspends Five Lawyers
The Wyoming Supreme Court has suspended five lawyers from the practice of law in Wyoming for failing to comply with the Rules of the Wyoming Supreme Court for Continuing Legal Education.
