In-state tuition will be offered to all non-resident students at the University of Wyoming College of Law, its board of trustees decided last month.
The Board of Officers & Commissioners met in Gillette last Friday, January 20th. At that meeting the Board approved distribution of proposed Rules for the Client Protection Fund of the Wyoming State Bar to the membership.
The Wyoming State Bar today announced that the following attorneys have been suspended from the practice of law in Wyoming for failing to comply with Article I, Sec. 5(b) of the Bylaws of the Wyoming State Bar by not paying their annual license fees.

Equal Justice Wyoming, in cooperation with the Wyoming Access to Justice Commission, launched the program at the Laramie County Courthouse in March. The groups then brought the volunteer attorney program to Casper in November.
The Equal Justice Wyoming Foundation received funds from Bank of America as a term of a national settlement with the Department of Justice. The settlement distributed funds to IOLTA organizations, including EJWF, to be used to design, develop, and fund effective projects to provide “foreclosure prevention legal assistance and community redevelopment legal assistance.” EJWF is soliciting proposals from legal service providers for projects that provide foreclosure prevention legal assistance and/or community redevelopment legal assistance.

The Wyoming Supreme Court issued an Order repealing the existing Wyoming Rules of Civil Procedure and adopting the proposed rules submitted by the Civil Division of the Permanent Rules Advisory Committee. The new rules will become effective March 1, 2017.
