“What You Need to Know About Upcoming Changes to the Wyoming Rules of Civil Procedure” is now available as a self-study program!

In-state tuition will be offered to all non-resident students at the University of Wyoming College of Law, its board of trustees decided last month.

Equal Justice Wyoming, in cooperation with the Wyoming Access to Justice Commission, launched the program at the Laramie County Courthouse in March. The groups then brought the volunteer attorney program to Casper in November.

The Equal Justice Wyoming Foundation received funds from Bank of America as a term of a national settlement with the Department of Justice. The settlement distributed funds to IOLTA organizations, including EJWF, to be used to design, develop, and fund effective projects to provide “foreclosure prevention legal assistance and community redevelopment legal assistance.” EJWF is soliciting proposals from legal service providers for projects that provide foreclosure prevention legal assistance and/or community redevelopment legal assistance.
